Let the internship begin!

Today my alarm rang around 5 o'clock in the morning. Normally I take forever to get out of bed, but today I was immediately wide awake. Our flight took of at 11 o'clock, we had a layover in Chicago. We had only 2 hours to recheck our baggage and pass the security. At 3 o'clock local time in Chicago we had to be at gate C26. There we talked with a man from Singapore who lives in California. He gave us some tips on what we definitely have to visit and see. From Chicago to San Francisco it was still 5 hours. We were very tired because it was already midnight in the Netherlands. When we arrived the local time in San Francisco was 6 pm. However for our feeling it was 3 o'clock in the morning. After we left the airplane we went to get our suitcases. On our way to the baggage claim we finally met Amanda. She took us home, where we met Ryan and Eric. Ryan was very excited and a little bit nervous to meet us. Overall the flight went well. We are thrilled to explore San Jose and San Francisco!
