Santa Cruz

This morning Shannon came to pick us up around 10 am. She brought us to the campus so we could visit a class of Mark. He teaches technical writing to seniors. It was really interesting to see how universities work in the United States. After the class of Mark, Daantje and I picked up Edie from preschool because Shannon was going for a swim. Therefore we walked her home and made her some lunch. By the time our lunch was finished Shannon was already home again. Shortly after Shannon got back we headed towards Santa Cruz. Amanda and Ryan also headed to Santa Cruz so we could meet them there. Once we arrived at the beach in Santa Cruz we played with Edie and Ryan in the sand and the close to the water. We just chilled a little bit and were enjoying ourselves. We also went up to the pier. There were a lot of sea lions at the pier and it was awesome to see that. After we watched the sea lions we had some dinner with Amanda and Ryan at a pizzeria. Then Amanda took us to an ice cream store and I had the best ice cream I have ever had. When we got home pretty late Ryan went straight into bed. I really enjoyed this day!
